Oru Kayak - Beach LT

Scott was great dealing with my questions, purchase, and much needed correction in my first assembly of my Kayak. It works phenomenally, and I may be back to purchase a 2nd boat for my wife sooner than later. Cheers.

Fast and efficient ordering and pick up. Happy to be close enough :) the boat is exactly what I needed to get out on the water whenever I feel like it. Easy to set up and pack up and handles well on our lakes and rivers here in South Frontenac.

I needed a second kayak right away, and the purchase on the website was quick and easy to follow every step of the way. I opted to pick-up locally, and that worked out great, I was on the water the next day with my spouse!

A very nice kayak - easy to go from my car trunk to the water, and it tracks well. Using a Tucktec since 2023, also bought from OVAP, I’m picky about how fast and easily a kayak gets me on the water. Scott was very knowledgeable and patient in guiding me to the right Oru model. The staff in the office were also very friendly and helpful. Now with both a Beach LT and a Tucktec in the trunk, kayaking is even more fun.

We are very happy with the experience of trying before we buy. Scott was extremely patience and helpful in answering all of our questions (usage, maintenance, wear and tear, possible trips..etc). I have watched many and many ORU related videos before the demo, but nothing beat the actual feel and experience of using the products. At the end, my husband and I bought 2 Beach LT. The ladies at the store are also very helpful in guiding us on choosing the right accessories. I would highly recommend the OVAP demo program and the store. Bonus - visiting Arnprior and trying the kayaks on the Ottawa river - amazing.

I absolutely love this fold-up portable kayak! It was easy to assemble, and I was surprised by how sturdy and stable it feels once it's on the water. It's lightweight enough for me to transport on my own, and I really appreciate that it folds up small enough to fit in my vehicle without needing a roof rack or trailer.

I've used it on calm lakes and have found it tracks well and is very comfortable for spending a few hours paddling. The quality has exceeded my expectations, and it's been a great way to get out on the water without the hassle of storing or transporting a traditional kayak.

If you're looking for a portable kayak that's convenient, well-built, and fun to paddle, I highly recommend it. It has made kayaking much more accessible for me, and I'm looking forward to many more adventures with it.

We recently purchased an Oru Kayak from Ottawa Valley Air Paddle and I must say that we were very impressed with the Kayak and the customer support we received from the store. Our friend who is a canoe/kayaking expert remarked that the Kayak has nice lines, tracks well and was stable . It was light and easy to assemble even for a newbie like me. We all were impressed with the functionality of the kayak and how you just pack it into your car and go. While kayaking, I found the kayak to be smooth, comfortable (though I did buy a gel seat) and easily steered. It was only my second time paddling and no issues with fatigue.
While packing up the kayak, one of the plastic shoulder strap clip snapped. We emailed the store and they answered very quickly and professionally. They contacted the company on our behalf and we only had to submit a photo and the serial number (they even sent us a video on how to find it). We had the replacement clip within a couple of day. Excellent service. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the kayak and also the customer service of the store. Thank you!

No roof racks or trailer required.Stores conveniently inside our house.Tracking is very good. Easy to turn and manoeuvre on calm water. After watching video, it was easy to assemble and disassemble. As an 74 year old who wants to continue paddling, I find the Oru Beach LT meets my needs perfectly. OVAP Online purchase and delivery also went well.

I love my new Beach kayak, it is light enough to get in my car so I can finally travel to new locations. Easy to set up and take down. It tracks quite well and it is pretty easy to get in and out of for someone who is not quite as agile as they used to be. I have only had it out in fairly calm water but it handled the motor boat and seadoo swells nicely. Service and help from Scott and Lana was great.

I was able to take my new Beach LT out for the first time this weekend. After practicing setup and breakdown a couple times in the garage, I was able to set it up.on shore in 7 minutes and folded up in 5. It's a great recreational kayak; easy to get in and out of, easy to paddle, tracks better than I expected. So far very happy.

I love my Oru Beach LT! It is easy to set up and disassemble. The first two times I practiced the steps, I needed someone’s help soften the folds. On the third try, I was able to completely and easily set up and disassemble on my own. Once in the water, the kayak was stable, even in 30 cm waves, and I felt at one with the water. Great product and great service from the OVAP team!
