I confess, I was hesitant to buy a "folding" canoe. I have a 14' aluminum canoe and thought this was some kind of gimmick. I love my aluminum canoe, but it is getting more difficult to load/unload on my truck, and this folding canoe seemed to be a perfect solution. So I came to the store (with my wife) and we checked it out. I couldn't see the DUO assembled, but the store rep (Kyle) went out of his way to show me the solo - he even took the solo to the park river and let me try it out. I was impressed. Both with the canoe stability and construction, as well as the excellent customer service we received from everyone in the store.
So we purchased the duo, and had an opportunity to try it out over the next several days. The first time assembling was quite a challenge. Frankly, the instruction booklet is useless. Even the official videos online were not much better. However, after the first 2 hour session to assemble (and an hour to disassemble) we worked it out. After 4 or 5 attempts, I can now assemble and disassemble in 7-8 minutes (each). The handling of the canoe is very similar to my aluminum canoe. It tracks very well. Is very stable and cuts through the water (almost) as well as the aluminum.
All in all, I am very impressed.
I does seem to react to a strong cross-wind more than the aluminum canoe, but even the aluminum canoe suffers from that.
Only time will tell, as far as the longevity of the canoe, and the claim of 20,000 folds, as well as for any warranty issues I may have in the future.
For now, I am a satisfied customer.

Once again, I want to comment on the staff in your store. We risked the 4 hour trip (one way) to get to Arnprior, and we were not disappointed. Your staff is friendly, courteous and they went above and beyond in helping us make a decision.

One final comment - we just returned from our camping trip (during which we purchased this folding canoe). Reviewing I your website, I noticed that this product is currently on sale, from $2,049.00 to $1,536.75. I don't know if this sale was in effect on the day of my purchase (August 6, 2025) but it would be
appreciated if we could have (or still can) take advantage of this sale price. Please let me know if there is anything you can do for me.
