The K2 Commonwealth takes the proven shape of the K2 Passport and builds it for riders who go faster and steeper. Same waist width, sidecut and taper that made the Passport a favourite, now wrapped in heavier triax fiberglass and K2's patented Spectral Braid™ for a board that holds its edge when the snow gets firm and the pitch gets serious.
A full camber profile delivers precise, powerful edge hold and real pop out of every turn. The tapered directional shape lets the nose ride up in fresh snow while the tail stays locked in on hardpack, so this board earns its place on icy Ottawa Valley mornings and powder trips out west alike.
Inside is K2's A1 Core, a light, snappy blend of bamboo, aspen and paulownia. Spectral Braid changes the fibre angle along the length of the board so torsional stiffness and tip-to-tail flex are tuned independently: quick edge-to-edge response without a board that feels dead underfoot. A wax-infused Sintered 4001 base keeps you moving through the flats, and the SnoPhobic™ topsheet sheds snow so the board stays light all day.
Designed and tested for all genders, the Commonwealth scales its construction, waist width and flex to each size, from 146 up to 163, with wide options for bigger boots.
