It sits higher off the ground than most portable chairs, which means getting in and out doesn't require the kind of effort that reminds you of your age. The extended high back supports your neck and shoulders, so you can stay in it longer without shifting around every ten minutes.
This is the updated version of Helinox's original Sunset Chair, rebuilt with the same thinking behind the "(re)" name: (re)designed for comfort, (re)cycled materials, (re)purposed aluminum. The (re)Tension Design adds a second tension line inside the perimeter of the seat, distributing weight across the DAC aluminum frame more evenly than the original. The result is a chair that stays comfortable through a long evening at the campsite, a festival, or a paddling trip put-in where you're waiting for the rest of your group to get organized. The frame is made from repurposed aluminum shavings refined into alloy discs -- a genuinely unusual approach to sustainability in outdoor gear manufacturing -- and the seat fabric is bluesign-certified recycled 300D polyester.
