Snowshoe Summit: Cancellation & Refund Policy
To ensure we can provide the best experience and expert guiding for all our guests, we adhere to the following policy regarding cancellations and rescheduling.
1. Guest Cancellations

Standard Cancellation (7+ Days Before Tour): Full refund (minus a small processing fee of 10% of the total ticket cost before tax) or a full credit to reschedule for a future date.

Short Notice (3–7 Days Before Tour): 50% refund or a full credit toward a future tour in the current season.

Less than 3 Days Before Tour: No refunds or credits will be issued. At this stage, our guides have been committed, and our partners at Canthooks Kitchen at Calabogie Peaks have already purchased and staged your food and beverage for the tour.
2. Weather & Safety Cancellations
Snowshoeing is an all-weather activity, and we typically head out in snow, wind, or sunshine! However, your safety is our priority.

Company Cancellations: If Ottawa Valley Air Paddle or Calabogie Peaks Resort cancels a tour due to extreme weather (e.g., blizzard warnings, extreme freezing rain, high winds, or unsafe driving conditions), you will be notified via email as soon as possible.

Your Options: In the event of a company cancellation, you will receive the choice of a full refund or a priority reschedule to one of our other upcoming dates.
3. Transferable Bookings (Send a Friend!)
We understand that life happens! If you are within the "no-refund" window (less than 72 hours) but cannot attend, your booking is fully transferable. You are welcome to send someone else in your place at no extra charge. Please just shoot us a quick email with the new guest's name and contact info so we can ensure they receive the safety waiver and gear requirements.
4. No-Shows & Late Arrivals
Tours depart strictly at the scheduled time to ensure we catch the last chairlift and reach the summit for the best views. If you arrive late and the group has already departed, or if you do not show up for your time slot, no refunds or credits will be provided.
5. How to Cancel
To request a cancellation or reschedule, please email us at hello@ovap.ca with your booking reference number. Please do not call our store, as the staff does not communicate with the tour team.
