I received it two weeks ago and went camping last weekend and I’ve used it three days for a total of five hours kayaking and it worked just as they said it would.
Amazing kayak! For an older kayaker that likes to get on the water whenever possible, this is perfect. It is easy to transport and handles beautifully on the water. Loving it!

Had to practice assembling and disassembling in my living room a few times ...once I finally got it out to test ...I could assemble it in less than 5 minutes. Disassembling in even less time. Went with a friend with an inflatable. Even with an electric pump it took her forever to get her kayak ready.
I got it out in calm water.... felt tippy at first but I didn't panic and once I relaxed was able to easily control the kayak. I confirm it doesn't track well...once I stop, the boat starts to turn but easy enough to get back on track and once I'm paddling it's smooth. There were a couple of motor boats that caused a wave, but didn't even feel like it was gonna flip. It is a very sturdy kayak.
No regrets picking the Oru lake . Can't wait to bring it out more often because I can do it quite easily. May invest in a foot rest because I think it'll make it more comfortable. Other than that ...it's a perfect little kayak for me and my 2 doggos.
