The 686 Men's Thermal Puff Insulated Jacket is a warm midlayer that can also stand on its own in cold, dry weather. A lightweight 20D cire shell with PFAS-free DWR surrounds 160g infiLOFT insulation, while stretch fleece side panels improve mobility and make the jacket easier to layer under a snowboard or ski shell. It is SMARTY compatible and includes two hand pockets plus two internal pockets for everyday storage. This is not a fully waterproof storm jacket, so its sweet spot is as an insulating layer under outerwear or as a comfortable standalone puffer around the resort, in town or on cold travel days.
