A Spooky Paddling Adventure! 🧙‍♀️🎃 

Get ready for a bewitching evening on the waters of the Madawaska & Ottawa River with Ottawa Valley Air Paddle’s inaugural Witches Paddle on October 5th! Dust off your hats and capes, and join us for a magical sunset paddle. Whether you bring your own boat or rent one from us, it’s a night you won’t want to miss!

Date & Time: October 5th, 5 PM (Rain date: October 12th)
Launch Point: Start at the Public Docks, paddle to Robert Simpson Park and back up the Madawaska

Tickets:

• $15 - Bring Your Own Boat
• $25 - Rent a Paddleboard
• $30 - Rent a Kayak

All paddle enthusiasts—SUPs, kayaks, and canoes—are welcome, though OVAP rentals are limited to paddleboards and kayaks.

Special Features:

• 🎶 Enjoy haunting music with a SUP equipped with speakers
• 🎃 Decorate your vessel with lanterns, lights or or spooky decor to light up the night
• 📖 Spooky stories from the Ottawa Valley will be shared to add to the eerie atmosphere
• 🏆 Best costume contest with a haunting prize
• 🍬 Enjoy post-paddle Halloween treats! 

Viewing for Spectators:
Not paddling? No worries! Gather at the Madawaska Bridge at 6 PM to watch the parade of witches glide by.
