Finally got out on the water this past weekend and I was very impressed with this new purchase. Inflating the board was a breeze and I love how the oar was easily adjustable for when I'm kneeling or standing and had a great handle. Overall really impressed and happy with this and hoping to use it for many years to come! Girlfriend and dog approved too!

I have been looking for a paddle board for a few years, knowing I wanted something more than the Costco special, but not quite convinced that I needed to spend thousands of dollars on my first board. I came across an OVAP ad and ended up starting a chat with Scott one evening (I suspect right before closing with the time difference between Ontario and Alberta). There are plenty of places I could’ve bought a board locally, but I was really impressed with the customer service I received. I had been looking for a high quality, affordable inflatable paddle board but was hoping to support a local business. After digging online I finally found Ottawa Valley Air Paddle and decided to take a look. It came with everything I needed—and more—and it's super quick and easy to inflate and deflate. Most importantly, it's stable and secure, making my pup’s intro to SUPs a total breeze. Highly recommend!

Complete kit - I wish I would have taken a photo before unpacking to see how it fit best. Great carry bag - sturdy, spacious, handy straps. Lady over 50 and easy to carry both in bag and inflated. Easy to inflate (5 minutes), really comfortable ankle leash with swivels so you never notice it. Stable on the water. Standing area is comfortable and lined pattern makes it easy to see that your feet are even. Option to use 1, 2, or 3 fins - 3 tracked best but harder to steer. 1 was better for steering. Paddle is great. Easy to deflate and repack. Super happy with it and really enjoying it.

Ordered two boards after chatting with the staff over the phone and email with a few questions. They were both helpful and knowledgeable, and boards were ordered and arrived within a two day period! Have used the boards a handful of times so far, and they seem like very good quality. Easy to set up, only take a few minutes to inflate and be out on the water. Sturdy yet speedy, and can handle waves too. Love that the package included all of the additional items (pump, Paddle, patch kit, waterproof phone carrier, ankle strap), and all fits into the handy backpack easy to travel with and pack in the car. Paddleboards can handle the pup on there too without worry. Thanks again!

I really love my new Retrospec Weekender SUP from Ottawa Valley Air Paddling (OVAP)! It's lightweight, easy to carry, easy to pump up, very nimble (which I like), and tracks well with its three fins. Not to mention the great price!

This paddle board shipped so quickly and made it all the way to BC ahead of its expected arrival date by one day. Loved taking it out on the water, but my only issue was the pump and paddle board seemed to be different brands with the instructions on the paddle board conflicting the instruction booklet and the pump itself. It was confusing to make sure it was pumped up enough the first time since there were a variety of PSI amounts listed on these three sources, and the instructions didn’t seem the match the pump we got. There was also reference to a red valve that we didn’t have on this paddle board. All worked out in the end just meant the first time we went out it was definitely under-inflated. Overall great board!

I got this board for my birthday last year and used it all summer. Love it. Never used one before but this is sturdy and easy to use. So much fun, can’t wait to use it again this year.

This board is lovely! Received this as a birthday gift this fall, luckily I've had a chance to use it twice. Great board, easy and fast shipping, package had everything.

Bought this for my 13 yo this summer. She absolutely LOVES it and basically spent the entire summer on it. She can inflate it herself and be out paddling in about 15 minutes. It's a sturdy board that even Grandma got on and enjoyed. 10/10 would recommend!

I purchased a weekender 10' in July and find it super easy to blow up and use. Great service from Scot and Lana. There was a manufacturing defect on the seams of my first board which became apparent after 2 uses. Scott switched me up, no problem to a different board. This is a great board for a beginner because the ease of just putting the deflated board in the car means I will use it more often.

Purchased this board to use while visiting the family cottage on Otter Lake from Calgary. I am inexperienced on the water since lakes near home are glacier fed and super cold. This board was the perfect purchase for a beginner! I spent each morning going for a leisurely paddle down the lake, enjoying the blissful quiet of leaving my 2yo twins with the in-laws. Afternoons, 1 or 2 kids would sit with me on it while we did a tour of the lily pads and loon fishing spots. This board is so easy to set up, the screw on pump is wonderful! 10/10, would purchase again (and just might next summer since 1 board may not be enough ;) )
